Natural daylight is the perfect lighting solution for our living and working environments. The full and rich spectrum of natural sunlight provides a room with a look and feel that simply can’t be matched by electrical lighting systems. The fact that we prefer natural light is not surprising as our visual systems were developed for a natural environment rather than the darker recesses of offices and other environments.

Hence we continually strive to bring more natural light into our artificial environs through such means as windows, skylights and elevated ceilings. Such measures are somewhat successful when access to exterior light is in close proximity – for example alongside windows or on the top floor through skylights – but for those positioned in interior building areas there has been no practical solution to this problem.

SunCentral has addressed the challenge of capturing natural lighting and delivering it to where it is needed most. Our systems are designed to capture and concentrate natural sunlight so that it can be delivered and extracted as full rich light up to 100 feet inside the core of a building Our mission is to develop commercial markets for direct sunlight illumination and to deliver the world’s best natural lighting systems.

Of course natural daylight has the additional advantage of being free and it is the most environmentally responsible lighting choice possible. In addition to enjoying the benefits of natural lighting, our customers will also be comforted by the fact that they will reduce their lighting power bills by up to 25% and knowing that they are making a meaningful contribution to the reduction of greenhouse gases and other pollutants.
