Great Northern Way
The first demonstration of the direct solar illumination system was done at the Great Northern Way campus of the British Columbia Institute of Technology. In this demonstration a solar collector array was mounted on the south facing exterior wall of the trailer.
Performance of the system exceeded expectations as can be seen in the photograph below where all light being generated in the fixtures is natural daylight.
