BCIT

Success with the original demonstration in the office trailer led to a second demonstration project with BCIT, this time at their Burnaby Campus.

In this project one half of one floor of an office building was retrofitted for natural lighting. Five Solar collecting arrays are seen installed on the top floor. In the photo below the light guides inside the building can be seen through the exterior windows. Note that the central light guide appears truncated as there is an interior wall leading to a separate boardroom at this point. The light guide continues deep into the building and provides sunlight to an area that has no window access.
